    Susquehanna National Heritage Area’s River Discovery Tours offer unforgettable experiences on the Susquehanna. Boat tours depart from the Zimmerman Center for Heritage located at 1706 Long Level Road Wrightsville, PA 17368.

     Built in 1912 for beer tycoon Adolphus Busch, the Chief Uncas is a 55-foot ELCO yacht with a remarkable history. From luxury cruises on Lake Otsego to heritage tours on the Susquehanna today, her story reflects innovation, industry, and the river’s enduring role in American life. 

     Each tour accommodates up to 22 persons. As soon as we receive your paid online registration, we will make arrangements for your ticket with River Discovery Boat Tours. We will be competing for spaces with the general public. When all spaces are filled, we will close registration. 

     A week prior to the tour, we will contact all registrants to arrange carpools from Lancaster.
