The folks at Landis Place on King invite Downtowners to join them first and third Tuesdays of the month for Movie Night in Conexion, their second floor gathering place.
The Breakfast Club is a 1985 coming-of-age comedy-drama. It tells the story of five teenagers from different high school cliques who serve a Saturday detention overseen by their authoritarian Vice Principal. In 2016, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congressas being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". The film has been considered as one of the best films of the 1980s, and one of the best teen films of all time.
