The folks at Landis Place on King invite Downtowners to join them first and third Tuesdays of the month for Movie Night in Conexion, their second floor gathering place.

Red Dog is a heart-warming 2011 Australian film. It is based on the true story of Red Dog , who searched Australia for his lost owner and in the process brought together many people and communities. There is a statue in Red Dog’s memory in Dampier, a town to which he often returned. At the 2011 Australian Film Awards, Red Dog was nominated in 9 categories, winning 7, including Best Feature film. The film was also nominated for 7 AACTA Awards and won for Best Film .
