This bird walk is for birders of all levels including those who have never birded before. You will need to provide your own binoculars. The venue is the Lancaster County Central Park, meeting at Pavilion 22 on Kiwanis Drive off Eshelman Mill Rd. We will walk the abandoned road to the covered bridge area where there are restrooms.
Total walking will be about 2 miles. Wear comfortable shoes/boots and dress for the weather. We will return the way we came. This is a wooded area for the most part so birds most likely to be seen are song birds, woodpeckers and raptors. Please call Bettina Heffner at 717-725-2717 or Mary Hinkle at 703-304-0380 with questions.
