Mt. Gretna some time residents Gerald and Mary Alice Ressler and Andy and Ellen Berfond are again inviting Downtowners to their porches for a great introduction to the varying character and events to this gem Location in Lancaster County. This event last year was highly successful; we’re happy the invitation has been extended so that more Downtowners can have this experience.

Here is how it will work: Half the registrants will be directed to the porch of Andy and Ellen in the area known as Camp Meeting. The other half will go to the porch of Gerald and Mary Alice to the area known as Chatauqua. After a cold drink and conversation and walk through in the respective areas, both groups will meet at Porch and Pantry for lunch. Following lunch, the groups will switch hosts and each group will experience a porch in the other area.

Expect a fair amount of walking on terrain that is NOT level.

Specific logistics and information about carpooling will come your way closer to the time. When you register, please indicate in the Conversation block if you would be available to drive and take a couple passengers.

Registration is limited to 22 persons.
