Baltimore Art Museum and Ladew Topiary Gardem

Another Downtowr trip and this time it's to Baltimore and the back roads in 'hunt country' Maryland. There is a spectacular show opening in Feb. at the Baltimore Museum of Art: Monsters & Myths: Surrealism and War in the 1930s and 1940s that should be both exciting and thought-provoking. It is coming from the Wadsworth Atheneum in Connecticut, which is the co-developer of the exhibit with Baltimore. Then after lunch on your own at Gertrude's cafe in the museum, we'll head to Ladew gardens for a stroll through their grounds enjoying the spring blossoms. Then there will be a house tour and after that we head back to Lancaster.
