RRTA to Columbia: You Don't Have to Park a Bus
Lancaster Downtowners is a group of retirees who have chosen downtown Lancaster as their retirement community. Global Shapers are 20-30 somethings committed to driving positive change wherever they live. Both groups are promoting increased use of public transportation in the greater Lancaster City area.
Downtowners and Shapers are inviting you to join them on one of two excursions using Red Rose Transit Authority to visit an outlying community for lunch and unique shopping opportunities. If you are new to using local buses, you will have company to show you the way.
For this trip, meet at 10:55 at the bus terminal to catch the 11:05 bus to Columbia. Your bus buddies will explain to you how, when and where to catch an inbound bus back to Lancaster. Over 65? Be sure to visit the bus station prior to the trip to get your free senior citizen pass. Register for this event so that we know to look for you. Registration caps at 15 people so do it now!
